Privacy
This website is operated by the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. The privacy policy of KIT applies. This page summarises what the website itself does and how it is hosted.
No cookies, no tracking
The website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking. It loads no content from third parties. Fonts, images and scripts are delivered from this website itself.
Hosting
The website is hosted on GitHub Pages by GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. St., San Francisco, CA 94107, United States. When you open a page, GitHub records in log files the data that your browser sends: your IP address, the address of the page you came from, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the HTTP status code, the amount of data transferred, and information about your browser and operating system.
This is necessary to display the website and to keep it stable and secure, which is our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. It is not required by law or contract, but the website cannot work without it. There is no tracking, and we have no direct access to these data. GitHub receives them as a recipient of your personal data, and its servers are in the United States. For transfers of personal data from the EU, GitHub relies on the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission. Further information, including how to object, is given in the GitHub privacy statement.
You have the right to object to this processing; whether an objection succeeds depends on a weighing of interests. The data are deleted as soon as they are no longer needed for this purpose.
